Omar Perez-Pulido

Omar Perez-Pulido has a diverse work experience. Omar began their career in 2015 as an Assistant Aquatics Facility Manager and Lifeguard for the City of Durham. In 2019, they took on the role of International Business Project Associate for Somos Internet. In 2020, they were the International Business Proposal Project Lead for X-Culture. In 2021, they were an Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence Scholar for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. In 2022, they worked as a Field Coordinator for Kennedy for Raleigh, and as a Legislative Office Clerk for House Minority Leader Robert Reives, II for the North Carolina General Assembly. Omar currently holds the position of Chief of Staff for Somos Internet.

Omar Perez-Pulido obtained an Associate of Arts - AA from Durham Technical Community College between 2016 and 2018. Omar then attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and earned a BA in Political Science with a focus on Global Politics between 2018 and 2020. Currently, Omar is pursuing a MA in International Studies with a focus on International Security and U.S. Foreign Policy at North Carolina State University and is expected to obtain a Master of International Studies certification from the same institution in May 2022.
