Carlos Cagadas

Carlos Cagadas, CPCU, AIC, serves as AVP and Senior Claims Specialist for First Party Property Claims at Sompo since October 2022. With extensive experience in claims management, Carlos has previously held positions as Claim Director and Claim Manager at RLI Insurance Company from June 2016 to October 2022, and Claims Supervisor at COUNTRY Financial from July 2007 to June 2016, where responsibilities included maintaining a claims office in Chicago and training agency personnel on insurance products. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Claims Representative and Property/Casualty Adjuster II, focusing on delivering exceptional claims service and examining policies to determine coverage. Carlos earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and studied Spanish through a minor at CEGRI.
