Courtney Grimes

Courtney Grimes, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Courtney began their career at Baily Construction in 2004 as an Event Coordinator, where they successfully managed special events and generated sales leads, resulting in a significant increase in sales revenue. In 2005, Courtney joined Ingram Barge Company as a Logistics Support Coordinator before being promoted to Assistant Manager, Liquid Sales and Customer Service. In this role, they efficiently managed transportation logistics for the liquid barge fleet and provided excellent customer service. Later, Courtney became the Claims Manager, overseeing all Jones Act and property damage claims for a designated geographic region. Courtney played a key role in negotiating and resolving cases while ensuring regulatory compliance. Most recently, Courtney joined Sompo International in 2019, where they initially served as a Senior Underwriting Assistant and is currently the Team Lead for Underwriting Assistants in Account Underwriting.

Courtney Grimes, MBA earned their Bachelor's degree in Public Relations/Advertising from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued their Master's degree in Business Administration at MTSU as well, completing it from 2007 to 2010.
