Don Christy

Don Christy, CIC, currently serves as Vice President of Wholesale Business Development for the Central Region at Sompo International since June 2023, focusing on broker relationships and business objectives. Prior to this role, Don was Regional Director of Distribution Management at The Hanover Insurance Group from February 2016 to June 2023, where responsibilities included sales, marketing, and distribution in the western Midwest. Don also held the position of Vice President at HUB International Midwest, managing over $100 million in revenue and carrier relationships, and served as Account Executive at Alper Services, overseeing a diverse range of commercial accounts. Additionally, experience includes roles at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Aon Risk Services, and Izzo Insurance Services, with a foundational background in underwriting at The Hartford. Don holds a BA in Speech Communication from California State University, Long Beach, and an AA in Liberal Arts from Long Beach City College.
