Lucia Martinez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Lucia currently holds the position of Commercial Property Technical Claim Lead at Sompo International. Prior to this, they worked as a Claims Officer at Liberty Mutual Ins. - Ironshore and Liberty International Underwriters, specializing in marine, energy, and general claims. Lucia also has experience as an Adjuster - Engineer at Matthews Daniel Company, where they handled claim adjustments, policy reviews, and negotiations related to pipelines, equipment, and well-related claims. Additionally, Lucia has held positions at Emerson as a Latin America Project Manager, Applications Eng & Inside Sales, and at Corrpro - Tecna as an Engineer in South America. Lucia began their career at DuPont as a Marketing Representative for South America, where they focused on Advance Fiber Systems, Industrial Nylon, Packaging, and Textile Polyester products, and assisted with the implementation of the SAP system in the region.

Lucia Martinez earned a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de America from 1989 to 1995. Lucia later pursued a degree in Management Studies at INALDE in 1999. Finally, they obtained an M.Sc. in Engineering Management from the University of South Florida from 2002 to 2004.
