Raquel Rendon

Raquel Rendon has over 20 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Raquel is currently working as the VP Retail Business Development Mid Atlantic Region at Sompo International, starting in 2023. Prior to this, Raquel held various roles at Zurich North America from 2010 to 2023, including Assistant Vice President, Senior Business Planning Manager, AVP, Execution Lead, Business Development Leader, Senior Account Executive, and Claims Specialist. Before joining Zurich North America, they worked as an Underwriter at Chubb from 2006 to 2010. Raquel also gained experience as a Claims Consultant at The Graham Company from 2005 to 2006 and as a Claims Analyst at ACE from 2002 to 2005.

Raquel Rendon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance, General, which they completed from Columbia Business School in the years 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Fordham University School of Law from 1995 to 1998. Their undergraduate education was completed at Princeton University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from 1991 to 1995.
