Ray Santiago

Ray Santiago has extensive experience in the insurance industry, particularly in financial lines and professional liability. Ray is currently the Head of Financial Lines, North America at Sompo International since August 2022. Prior to that, they served as the EVP and U.S. Head of Professional Lines at Sompo International from December 2019 to September 2022. Before joining Sompo International, Ray worked at AXA XL as the SVP and Regional Head of Professional from 2016 to 2019. Ray also held the position of SVP; Regional Executive Financial Lines at AIG from April 2014 to November 2015. Ray's earlier experience includes working as the Financial Institutions Industry Leader - FINEX at Willis Group Holdings from April 2013 to April 2014. Ray began their career at AIG, where they held various roles including Executive Vice President from March 1997 to March 2013 and Business Analyst from December 1990 to March 1997. Prior to this, Ray worked as a Client Service Representative at Bear Stearns & Co. from November 1988 to November 1990.

Ray Santiago graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Technology from Hofstra University in 1988.
