Omar Mohamed Nor

Omar Mohamed Nor has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Omar Mohamed started their career in 2011 as an Aid Worker at SAACID Organization. Later, in 2015, they transitioned to working as an English & Social Studies Teacher at the same organization. In 2018, they joined IMAN Foundation as the Head Master of IMAN Primary School. Concurrently, they also had various roles at Somtel. Starting as a Marketing Public Relations Manager in 2014, they then moved on to become a Regional Development Manager in 2017 and eventually a Sales Manager in 2020. Omar Mohamed took on higher responsibilities, becoming a Sales and Marketing Specialist in 2021, followed by Deputy Chief Commercial Officer in 2021. Omar Mohamed is currently serving as the Acting Chief Commercial Officer at Somtel.

Omar Mohamed Nor completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Somalia (UNISO) from 2008 to 2011. Omar Mohamed then pursued a Master of Arts in Public Policy & Administration (MPPA) at Kenyatta University between 2016 and 2018.
