April Freeman, MPH

April Freeman, MPH has a robust work experience in the field of patient advocacy and engagement. April is currently working at SonALAsense as the Head of Global Patient Advocacy and Engagement since April 2022. Prior to this, they had a role at BridgeBio as the Head of Global Patient Advocacy for MoCD Type A and Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa from February 2021 to present. From November 2018 to February 2021, April worked at bluebird bio as the Global Lead for Sickle Cell Disease in the patient advocacy department. Before that, they gained experience at Genentech where they held various roles, including PAC Administrator from June 2017 to November 2018 and Advocacy Relations from February 2011 to November 2018.

April Freeman, MPH, completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Walden University from the years 2013 to 2016.
