Michael Bellas

Michael Bellas has a diverse work experience. Michael is currently working as an Associate Business Development Manager at SonALAsense since January 2023. Prior to this, they were an Assistant Manager of Business Development and Operations at the same company since September 2020. Michael also worked as a Clinical Program Manager at Flightpath Biosciences, Inc from March 2021 to June 2021. Before that, they were a Business Development Intern at FIBRX Tissue Repair, Inc. in August 2020 to October 2020. In addition, they had experience as an Information Research Scientist at the University of California, Berkeley from January 2019 to May 2020, where they conducted genomic analysis and lab work. Furthermore, they founded and served as the president of the Student Mental Illness Learning Effort, raising awareness and organizing discussions on mental health. Michael also gained leadership experience as a Community Service Leader at the City of Irvine, organizing activities for children.

Michael Bellas received their Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Plant Biology with a focus on Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Biotech Laboratory Certification in Biology Technician/Biotechnology Laboratory Technician from Irvine Valley College. In addition to their formal education, Michael also obtained a certification in Human Subjects Research - Biomedical Basic from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY, in March 2021.
