Chris Perkins

Chris Perkins has over 30 years of work experience in the consumer electronics industry. Chris began their career at Cookin' The Audio and Video Specialists, where they quickly advanced to the position of Vice President of Sales. Chris was responsible for hiring and training sales and management teams in multiple locations and managed trade show planning to increase brand awareness.

In 1999, Perkins joined RSB Marketing and Sales as a Sales Representative, where they presented and sold consumer electronics products to retail accounts. Chris then moved on to Cutting Edge Systems in 2000, where they served as VP of Sales Operations, overseeing various business functions including staffing, training, product development, and project management.

Perkins joined Kaleidescape in 2006 and held multiple roles, including Account Manager, Sales Manager for North Central US and Canada, and Manager of Sales Development. Chris was responsible for recruiting, hiring, and developing sales teams, as well as maintaining and developing customer accounts.

In 2009, Perkins joined Crestron Electronics as the Executive Director for the Northeast Region, where they achieved significant revenue growth and provided leadership in the commercial and luxury residential markets.

Prior to their current position at Sonance as the Director of Sales Commercial-East, Perkins worked as a Regional Sales Manager at ThreeSixty Engineered Systems and owned their independent consulting firm, Re: Sound Sales. Chris specialized in new market development and establishing profitable dealer channels for manufacturers in the AV/IT/UC markets.

Chris Perkins attended the Boston Actors Theatre Institute from 1982 to 1984, where they completed the Theatre Arts Certificate Program with a focus on theater.
