Richard Henderson

Richard Henderson has extensive work experience, beginning in 2004 with Marsh & McLennan Companies, where they served as a Risk Analyst. In 2009, they moved to the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they were a Lead Researcher. In 2011, they joined AmeriCorps as a Team Leader/Health Educator. The following year, they became a Project Lead The Way K-5 Teacher for Teach For America. From 2015 to 2017, Richard was an Elementary School Teacher - AUSL Brian Piccolo School of Excellence for Chicago Public Schools. During this time, they also held three roles at Blue Health Intelligence: Account Executive, Strategic Operations, and Training and Documentation Specialist. In 2019, Richard joined Blue Cross Blue Shield Association as a Senior Manager - CareSourcing and Sound Physicians as a Director. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Vice President at SonarMD.

Richard Henderson obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance, General from the University of Iowa between 2000 and 2004. Richard then attended Columbia University from 2006 to 2008 to complete a Post-baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program in Medicine. Richard followed this with a Master of Science (M.S.) in Pathology/Experimental Pathology from the University of Illinois Chicago between 2009 and 2011. Finally, they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Education from Dominican University between 2012 and 2014. Additionally, Richard obtained a Professional Educator License from the Illinois State Board of Education in July of 2012.
