Lynda Brenock has over 20 years of experience as a Java Developer, starting in 2000. Lynda has worked in various companies and roles, including Sonder as a Senior Java Developer, where they increased the production release cycle and developed an event-driven system. Lynda served as the Platform Team Lead at Gumtree Australia, leading a team of developers and following agile principles. At NBN Co Limited, they were a member of the Customer Portal team responsible for developing and enhancing the website for NBN resellers. Lynda upgraded existing applications and added features at NSW Police as a Java Developer. Lynda maintained a complex settlements system and wrote test cases at Macquarie Group. At Barclays Global Fund, they developed a fund fee reporting system and improved stored procedure performance. Lynda designed and developed an Equity Derivative Trading System at Macquarie Group, and developed the user interface at Lend Lease for SalesForce. At Amadeus, they were involved in the design and development of a form-based front-end application. Prior to their professional career, Lynda Brenock gained web development and internet experience, including developing a scheduler for recording radio programs and generating HTML pages for election votes at ABC.
Lynda Brenock attended Munster Technological University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Applications. Lynda has also obtained several certifications from Coursera, including "App Deployment, Debugging, and Performance," "Developing Applications with Google Cloud Specialization," "Securing and Integrating Components of your Application," "Getting Started With Application Development," "Building Scalable Java Microservices with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud," "Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure," and "Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine." These certifications were obtained between March and June 2021.
