Markus Fisher

Markus Fisher is an experienced hospitality professional currently serving as the Area General Manager for Ottawa and Toronto at Sonder Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this role, Markus held various leadership positions including Director of Marketing & Leasing at Osgoode Properties and Director of Sales and Marketing at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. With a strong background in sales, marketing, and hospitality management, Markus has also served as Director of Sales and Marketing at notable establishments such as The Metcalfe Hotel, Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, and Marriott Hotel Ottawa. Additionally, Markus has contributed to the industry through leadership roles in the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Ottawa Chapter, serving as President and Past President. Markus holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Heritage College and a DEC in Social Sciences from Champlain Regional College.
