Patrick Mitchell is currently the VP of Brand, Marketing & Distribution at Sonder. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Americas at Cathay Pacific Airways from November 2018 to April 2020. During their time at Cathay Pacific, Patrick was responsible for revitalizing regional commercial activities across the Americas and was accountable for $1.5 billion in annual revenue. Patrick did this by devising growth strategies to meet passenger, revenue and brand KPIs.

Under Patrick's leadership, the team of 40 corporate and leisure sales professionals at Cathay Pacific was transformed. Patrick also refocused the Revenue Management team to deliver business insights that would increase market share and yield performance. As a result of their innovative and distinctive brand campaigns, brand awareness increased by 50% and brand consideration improved by 35%.

In addition, Patrick developed digital and e-commerce strategies - including programmatic, interactive video and connected TV - to drive customer acquisition and engagement. This yielded a 30% increase in direct sales contribution. Furthermore, they cultivated new distribution strategies across direct (B2C), corporate (B2B) and upscale leisure (B2B2C) channels. As a result of their efforts, passenger and revenue growth doubled while reducing the cost of sale.

Patrick Mitchell has a Masters in Business Administration from Yale School of Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bucknell University, and certificates in Strategic Marketing Communications and Corporate Finance from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and the General Electric Financial Management Program, respectively.
