Amedeo Cristofaro has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Amedeo is currently a Co-Founder at a Stealth Mode Startup Company since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at SONECT from August 2020 to January 2022, where they held the positions of Global Head of Business Development and Business Development Executive & Country Manager Italy. In these roles, Amedeo was responsible for overseeing logistics, developing new business, streamlining fundraising operations, and conducting thorough research to devise relevant strategies.

Before joining SONECT, Amedeo served as an Advisory Board Member at Tokenomica from March 2020 to December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Wells Fargo from December 2011 to July 2019, where they held the position of Regional Head - Global Financial Institution - Global Payment Services. In this role, they led the EMEA region, delivered innovative solutions, set payment strategies, and evaluated profits, revenue, and risks.

Amedeo also had a significant tenure at Standard Chartered Bank, where they worked from February 2008 to October 2011. Amedeo held the position of Country Manager & Head of South Europe Transaction Banking and was responsible for overseeing branch operations in Italy and governance operations in Romania and Spain. Amedeo successfully integrated American Express Bank into Standard Chartered Bank, reshaped the designated area, reduced expenses by closing offices, and centralized operations in Milan.

Amedeo's career began at American Express in November 1996, where they held various roles throughout their tenure. Amedeo started as a Customer Service Trainee and eventually progressed to the position of Country Manager - Financial Institution Head - Product Management - Customer Experience. Amedeo achieved record market share in Italy during their time at American Express.

Amedeo Cristofaro attended Harvard University in 2020, where they completed the Harvard VPAL FinTech Course. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1993, they studied Banking and Economics at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, specializing in Banking and Financial Support Services.
