Dan Meyer

Dan Meyer has a comprehensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dan is the President and Founder of Sonic VA since October 2013, where they focus on providing big data analytics solutions to small and medium-sized organizations. Dan is also the President and Founder of DMAI - Decision-Making, Analytics & Intelligence Philippines since January 2013, where they offer analytics solutions through training, consulting, and outsourcing. Dan is the Executive Director of the Analytics Association of the Philippines, a non-profit organization dedicated to Data Science and Analytics education and training.

Prior to their independent ventures, Dan worked at Wells Fargo, starting in 1998. Dan held positions such as Senior Analytics Consultant, Project Manager/Compliance Consultant, and Customer Service Supervisor. In these roles, they were involved in business strategy, business intelligence, competitor intelligence, and implementing analytics initiatives.

Dan also has experience in the education sector. Dan worked as an Admissions Counselor at Heald College and as an Exchange Student Program Coordinator at the International Student Exchange Program Committee. In these roles, they managed administrative processes, advised students, and facilitated group activities.

Dan Meyer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with an emphasis in Russian History, at Sonoma State University from 1987 to 1991. Dan then pursued further education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Education, with a focus on Student Affairs in Higher Education, from 1993 to 1995. Prior to their higher education studies, Dan attended Hogan High School from 1984 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Dan also obtained certifications in Anti-Money Laundering Compliance from the Florida Bankers Association in January 2010, and in Tableau Desktop Certified Professional Certification from Tableau Software in July 2011.
