Heath R. Byrd

Heath R. Byrd has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Heath R. started their career at Union Memorial Hospital in 1993 as the VP of Operations. Heath R. then moved on to Ernst & Young where they worked as a Manager from 1996 to 1999. In 1999, they joined HRAmerica as President, a position they held until 2007. In the same year, they joined Gevity as Vice President of Operations but only stayed for a few months before transitioning to Sonic Automotive. At Sonic Automotive, they served as the VP and CIO from 2007 to 2013, and then became the Chief Financial Officer, a position they continue to hold.

Heath R. Byrd obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from North Carolina State University, where they attended from 1986 to 1989. Prior to that, they attended the United States Air Force Academy in 1985-1986. Heath R. also completed a Master's degree at Duke University from 1990 to 1992, though the field of study is unspecified.
