LaShunda M. has over 20 years of work experience in various technical roles. LaShunda began their career at NASA Ames Research Center as a Tech Support/Engineering Trainee. From there, they joined FORE Systems as a Test Engineer in the LAN Switching Division. LaShunda then moved to Bay Networks/Nortel Networks as a Senior Test Engineer in the ATM Switching Group. After that, LaShunda worked at Network Equipment Technologies as a System Test Engineer. Currently, they are at Sonic Foundry Inc., where they first started as a Technical Documentation Specialist, then became a Technical Documentation Manager, and is currently serving as a Customer Success Documentation Lead.

LaShunda M. completed their Bachelor of Science in Circuits and Systems at UC Berkeley in 1993. LaShunda later pursued a Technical Communication Certificate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2002 to 2004. In 2020-2021, they obtained a Graduate Instructional Design Certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Currently, they are working towards a Master of Science in Training and Human Resource Development at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, expected to be completed in 2024. LaShunda also holds various certifications in areas such as Organization Communication, Coaching Skills, API Technical Writing, and more.
