David Schaefer, CPA has extensive work experience in the field of finance and accounting. David started their career in 2003 as a Night Auditor at Sunset Inn, where they handled front desk duties and performed basic accounting tasks. In 2004, they briefly worked as an Admin Associate at the City of Petaluma, where they handled daily cash receipts and customer service. In 2005, they joined Glenn, Guattery, Gunn & McAravy LLP as a Staff Accountant, where they worked until 2011. During their time there, they gained experience in various accounting functions. In 2011, they joined Sonic as the Director of Finance, a position they currently hold. In 2019, they also took on the role of Treasurer at Foothills of Windsor HOA. Overall, David Schaefer has a diverse range of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on financial management, accounting operations, and customer service.

David Schaefer, CPA has an educational background that includes an Accounting Certificate from Sonoma State University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006.
