Charles Atkins

Charles Atkins, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Employee Assistance & Development at EMR USA Metal Recycling, focusing on creating and maintaining employee assistance programs, particularly for returning citizens. As Principal Consultant at XL Endeavors, LLC, Charles empowers individuals impacted by incarceration through educational initiatives and community support. With a rich background in the arts, Charles also acts as A&R Director and Performing Artist, leveraging platforms to inspire and mentor youth. Formerly a Chaplain Supervisor for the New Jersey Department of Corrections, Charles has extensive experience in providing religious services and life management training. Educationally, Charles holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Practical Theology from the Université de Montréal, a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts from Haverford College.
