Wilfred Booij has extensive experience in various senior roles, particularly in the technology sector. Wilfred started their career at Agilent Technologies in Ipswich, UK as a Senior Engineer in 2000. In 2002, they joined SINTEF as a Senior Scientist before transitioning to Sonitor Technologies in 2006. At Sonitor, they held multiple positions including Chief Technology Officer, Executive Vice President of Research and Development, and Chief Executive Officer. In 2019, they joined Forkbeard Technologies AS as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer, and then they moved on to become the Chief Technology Officer at Sonitor in 2023.
Wilfred Booij obtained their Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from the University of Twente in 1992. Following this, they pursued a PhD in Materials Science and Physics from the University of Cambridge, which they completed in 1997.
