Yair Liberman

Yair Liberman has extensive work experience in various roles related to data science, product management, and project management.

Starting in 2009, Yair worked as a Data Analyst for the IAF - Israeli Air Force, where they analyzed large military maintenance databases and performed statistical predictions to optimize logistic processes.

In 2011, Yair transitioned to the role of Data Scientist in the Aviation Field Test team at the IAF. Yair led teams in developing machine learning applications for field testing, including anomaly detection and computer vision. Yair also presented advanced statistical analysis to stakeholders.

In 2015, Yair became a Technical Project Manager for Aviation Systems at the IAF. Yair led the development of major aviation projects and managed project communication, reporting, and troubleshooting. Yair defined system requirements and approved technical designs.

Moving on to the Israel Ministry of Defense in 2017, Yair served as a Product Manager and Data Science Lead for Command and Control Services. Yair led cross-functional teams in developing AI solutions for command and control and cyber security applications. Yair managed multiple projects simultaneously and ensured client satisfaction.

In 2020, Yair joined badook AI as a Product Manager and Data Scientist. Yair led the research and design of data validation and integrity methods for the company's big data service. Yair developed analytic capabilities to identify anomalies in datasets and protect data pipelines from malicious attacks.

Currently, Yair holds the position of Head of Data Science at Sonnant, starting in April 2021.

Throughout their career, Yair has demonstrated strong technical skills in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, R, and SQL. Yair has also utilized tools like Tableau for data visualization and reporting.

Yair Liberman completed their education in two prestigious institutions. From 2005 to 2011, they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics and Philosophy. Following this, they pursued further academic achievements at Tel Aviv University from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mathematics.
