Dhaval Patel has over 15 years of work experience. Dhaval started their career in 2005 as a Trainee at Reliance Industries Ltd, where they studied the combined cycle cogeneration power plant, control unit, substation and other units of the plant. Dhaval also reviewed the detail operation of units such as gas turbine, steam turbine and their auxiliaries. Dhaval then moved on to Modern Power Services, where they worked as an Assistant Electrical Engineer from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they were involved in the installation and maintenance of electrical machines such as AC Motors, DC Motors, AC-DC Drives, Transformers, Switchgear and control panel. Dhaval also prepared operating, testing, troubleshooting procedures for all running and stand by electric machines and checked and approved quotes received from vendors for various equipments and instruments. In 2009, they joined Shyam LLC as a Jr. Engineer Intern. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Intertek as a Project Engineer, where they were responsible for performing constructional evaluation on various electrical equipments, both onsite and offsite. Dhaval also had project experience in safety compliance certification of utility-interactive and standalone PV inverters, PV combiners, transformers, circuit breakers, transfer switch equipment and several other industrial control equipments in accordance with applicable U. S. regulations. Finally, from 2015 onwards, they have been working at sonnen, Inc. as Director System Development, Sr. Certification Engineer and Certification Engineer.

Dhaval Patel completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Gujarat University between 2001 and 2005. Dhaval then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Lamar University between 2006 and 2008.
