James Winfield

James Winfield has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. In 2004, they worked as an Engineer Technician for Dynacorp Fabricators Inc. In 2005, they were the Head Design Engineer at Tangent Oilfield Technologies, where they designed a portable oilfield wastewater purification system. In 2006, they worked as a Fly-fishing Guide and Adventure Guide at King Pacific Lodge, A Rosewood Resort, where they were responsible for the safety and well-being of several people in a wilderness setting. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Bio-Digestion Designer and Project Management/Engineer at Alterna, where they managed a multi-national and multilingual team of co-workers, interns, and volunteers. Since 2014, they have been with Sonnen, Inc. where they have held roles as Director CoC - Hardware, Manager of Industrial Design and Development, Industrial Design and Development Lead, and Technical Writer.

James Winfield attended Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2004 to 2006, studying Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, and Technician. James then attended Lakehead University from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they hold certifications in Basic First-Aid and Wilderness First Responder.
