Michelle Mapel has over 20 years of work experience in various industries. Michelle started their career in 1999 as a Senior Producer at eToys. In 2001, they became a Team Manager at The Capital Group Companies and an Assistant Vice President, Team Manager at Capital Group. In 2007, Michelle was a Product Manager/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern at Expedia, Inc. and in 2008, they were a Senior Product Manager at Expedia.com and a Consultant at the Smithsonian Institute. In 2009, they were Co-founder & Business Analyst at Wind2O Startup and Director of Product Management & GM of FamilyGetaway.com at Luxury Link. From 2012 to 2016, Michelle was Senior Marketing Manager at CODA Energy and Executive Director of Marketing & PR and Senior Director of Sales & Marketing at sonnen, Inc.

Michelle Mapel obtained their MBA from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business in 2008, where they studied Social Entrepreneurship. Michelle also holds a BA in Anthropology from Vanderbilt University, which they obtained in 1993.
