Dr. Robert Centeno

Dr. Robert Centeno has extensive experience in the field of plastic surgery. Dr. Robert is currently the Medical Director and a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon at Sono Bello. Previously, they worked at the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery as a Plastic Surgeon specializing in various areas such as Skin Care, Laser Surgery, Minimally Invasive Facial Surgery, Body Contouring, and Autologous Fat/Stem Cell Grafting. Dr. Robert also had a similar role at the Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute, where they were a Partner and part of the executive management team. Additionally, Dr. Centeno served as a Member of the Governing Board for the United States Virgin Islands Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Robert was also the Principal at St. Croix Plastic Surgery Inc. and held the position of Vice President for Medical Affairs/Chief Medical Officer at the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital & Medical Center. As a co-founder and partner at Aesthetic Surgery Associates Inc., Dr. Centeno played a crucial role in managing the multi-provider Aesthetic Surgery & Skin Care Center.

Dr. Robert Centeno has an extensive educational background. Dr. Robert obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from Dickinson College in 1989. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, graduating in 1995. In 1993, they enrolled in The Wharton School and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management in 1995.

Dr. Centeno then pursued further specialization in plastic surgery. Dr. Robert completed their residency at Washington University in St. Louis from 1999 to 2001. Subsequently, they obtained a fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery at New York Medicine Jobs in 2002.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dr. Centeno has obtained a certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery Inc., which is affiliated with the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). However, specific information about the date of certification is not available.
