Kaitin Bhakta

Kaitin Bhakta has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kaitin is currently working as a Technical Program Manager at Sono Bello, where they have built a comprehensive software development program management portfolio and created efficient process automation systems.

Prior to their current role, Kaitin worked at Premera Blue Cross as a Senior Scrum Master, Acting Release Train Engineer, and Acting Agile Coach. During their time there, they implemented a large-scale agile framework, trained teams on agile values and practices, and facilitated the transformation of healthcare IT's Capability Product Groups.

Kaitin has also worked as a Technical Program Manager at Nordstrom (through Vaco Management Consulting), where they collaborated with cross-functional teams to design a scalable inventory management and merchandise restocking tool.

Earlier in their career, Kaitin served as a Program Manager at Shutterfly Inc., promoting Agile project management and coordinating activities between cross-functional development teams. Kaitin also worked as a Program Manager and Scrum Master at Narus Inc., leading the SDLC transformation from waterfall to agile methodologies.

Kaitin's experience also includes a role as a Project Coordinator/Jr ScrumMaster at cPrime, Inc., where they provided consulting services in Scrum and Agile and formulated plans to improve SDLC processes.

Additionally, they have relevant experience as a Business Manager at Postal Annex, conducting sales and marketing, managing inventory, and overseeing profit and loss statements. Kaitin has also worked on independent research projects in restoration ecology and data analysis.

Lastly, Kaitin has demonstrated their leadership abilities as the President of UCSB Club and a Member of the Board of Directors at Santa Barbara County Red Cross, where they governed and oversaw all club and county-related decisions and successfully increased club membership.

Kaitin Bhakta attended Mt. Eden High School, where they obtained a High School Diploma. After completing high school, Bhakta went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies at UC Santa Barbara. In 2010, they graduated from UC Santa Barbara with their degree.

Additionally, Bhakta has obtained several certifications. In March 2013, they became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance. They have also obtained certifications as a Notary Public through the California Notary. Additionally, Bhakta has achieved the Professional Scrum Master I certification through Scrum.org.
