Nzinga Woods currently serves as a Project Coordinator at the Sonoma County Office of Education and an Adjunct Professor in the San Francisco Bay Area/Sonoma region, specializing in Educational Consulting, Ethnic Studies, and Arts. As the 1st Vice President of the Santa Rosa-Sonoma NAACP since January 2021, Nzinga also brings extensive experience from previous roles as Principal of Ravenswood City School District, Vice Principal at Costaño School of the Arts, and Co-Director of the ArtQuest Program at Santa Rosa City Schools. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from California State University, Fullerton, a Master of Fine Arts from Mills College, and a Secondary Credential from San Francisco State University. Additionally, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater with a concentration in Dance was earned from California State University-Sacramento.
