Ed Mills

Edward Mills is a highly experienced higher education executive with significant expertise in strategic enrollment management and student affairs. Currently serving as the Vice President for Strategic Enrollment at Sonoma State University since August 2023, Edward Mills also operates as a consultant through Ed Mills Consulting, which has provided strategic guidance since January 2003. Prior roles include Vice President for Student Affairs and Chief Enrollment Officer at California State University, Sacramento, and Vice Provost for Enrollment and Student Services at Cleveland State University, where initiatives such as the One-Stop Student Service Center were established. Edward Mills holds a Ph.D. in Education Leadership from Colorado State University, a Master's degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from Penn State University, a Bachelor's degree in Health Science from Kansas State University, and a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
