Julie Dopko Chre

Julie Dopko CHRE has a diverse background in human resources, with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Julie currently serves as the Vice President Human Resources, Americas for the Sonova Group, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, Julie was the Interim VP, HR for Advanced Bionics, a division of Sonova, from September 2021 to September 2022. Julie also served as the Sr. Director, Human Resources, North America for Sonova from April 2019 to April 2021.

Before joining Sonova, Julie worked at Communitech, where they held multiple roles, including Director, HR and Talent Programs from March 2014 to February 2016, Director of Human Resources from September 2013 to March 2014, and HR Manager from September 2012 to August 2013.

Julie's earlier career includes roles at People Matters Consulting Ltd as a Principal Consultant from 2009 to 2012, and at NCR Corporation as an HR Business Partner from 2003 to 2008, and as a Recruitment Manager from 2000 to 2003.

Julie Dopko CHRE has an education history that includes an Executive Program in HR Strategy from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2018. Julie also holds an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Guelph and a Post Graduate Program in Human Resources from Sheridan College. Julie has received additional certifications, including being Dare to Lead Trained, obtaining a Change Leadership Certification from Leeds University Business School, and earning a Certificate in Inclusive Leadership from Catalyst Inc. Julie is also a Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association and holds a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) certification from the same institution.
