Andrea Bonetti

Andrea Bonetti is a Senior Research Scientist at SonyAI since November 2023, specializing in AI for chip design. Prior to this role, Andrea worked at CSEM as a Senior R&D Engineer and R&D Engineer from August 2019 to October 2023. Andrea's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from EPFL, where research focused on energy/quality tradeoffs in digital VLSI circuits for low-power computing, and involvement in the design and management of multiple ASIC projects. Previous experience includes positions at Intel Corporation, ams AG, and internships at EPFL and ETH Zürich, with a comprehensive focus on low-power digital and analog circuit design from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, Andrea holds a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in electronic and biomedical engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
