Paulo César Martins Urbano, PhD has a diverse work experience. Paulo César is currently working as a Field Service Engineer - Flow Cytometry at Sony Biotechnology Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Research Lead at the Center for Surgical Science (CSS) starting from June 2021.

Paulo César Martins Urbano, PhD, has a diverse educational background in the field of biotechnology and immunology. Paulo César began their education journey at Centro Universitário Facex - UNIFACEX, where they obtained a Licentiate degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from 2007 to 2010.
Continuing their academic pursuits, Urbano enrolled at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná from 2010 to 2011, where they earned a degree as a Biotechnologist, focusing on biotechnology. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering from Universidade Federal do Paraná, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013.
Driven by their passion for advancing medical sciences, Urbano joined Radboud University in 2014 to embark on a PhD program in Immunology. Paulo César dedicated six years to their research and studies, successfully completing their PhD in Medical Sciences in 2020.
In addition to their formal education, Urbano has also obtained a certification in "ACADEMIC INTEGRITY: VALUES, SKILLS, ACTION" from The University of Auckland in December 2017.
