Roland Reuel Salamatin

Roland Reuel Salamatin is an experienced IT Security professional with a focus on risk management and privacy in the Asia-Pacific region. Currently serving as Regional Privacy Manager and IT Security Consultant at Sony Electronics since September 2012, Roland is responsible for IT security governance and risk management across various Sony companies. Prior roles include IT Security Specialist at HP Enterprise Services, IT Security Engineer at United Overseas Bank Limited, and Senior IT Security Consultant at NCS Group, where contributions involved vulnerability assessments, security policy establishment, and security incident management. Roland has also held significant positions at Accenture, the Department of Science and Technology, and APEC, demonstrating a strong foundation in application and system security assessments, as well as academic experience, holding a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
