Becky Hicks

Human Computer Interaction Designer at Sony Interactive Entertainment

Becky Hicks has worked at Sony Interactive Entertainment for a total of six years. Becky started in 2009 as a User Researcher, where they were responsible for setting research objectives and designing appropriate research plans and methods. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of Interaction Designer, conducting user research and behavior analysis to inform design decisions. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Visual Designer, focusing on the visual aspects of the user interface, including appearance, colors, typography, and icons. Currently, they hold the position of Human-computer interaction designer, where they design the information structure and navigation of the interface to ensure users can easily find the content and functionality they need.

Becky Hicks pursued their education in a field related to information and systems management. In 2002, they enrolled at the National University of Singapore, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Design with a focus on Information Systems Design. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2006, they furthered their education at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2007 to 2009. Here, they obtained a Master's degree in Information Management and Systems, specializing in the same field of study.
