Lauren Signorino has a diverse work experience in the entertainment industry. Lauren currently holds the position of Sr. Writer at Sony Interactive Entertainment, starting in October 2021. Previously, they worked as a Staff Writer for Showtime Networks Inc., where they participated in adapting the novel "The Good Lord Bird" into an episodic series and co-wrote an episode of the mini-series. Before that, they served as a Senior Narrative Writer at Sony Santa Monica Studios, where they wrote story outlines for level design and participated in crafting game narratives, mythology, and character arcs. Lauren also worked as a Writer for Fear The Walking Dead, where they developed the story, wrote the outline and script for two 16-Episode Short Form Series, oversaw the production process, and received an Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Short Form Series." Additionally, they worked as a Script Coordinator & Writers' Assistant for Fear The Walking Dead, actively participating in writers' room discussions, logging all discussions, and coordinating and distributing scripts.
Lauren Signorino pursued their education by first obtaining a Bachelor's degree in English and Television and Film from San Diego State University. This academic journey took place from the year 2006 to 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, Lauren Signorino further enhanced their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master's degree in Professional Writing at the University of Southern California. This postgraduate program provided their with specialized expertise in the field of writing and was completed from 2010 to 2012.
