Masashi Takeuchi has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Masashi worked at Sony Interactive Entertainment as a Director of Software Engineering, where they led the development of the Playstation frontend application and enhanced video service on Playstation using JavaScript, CI/CD, and large scale app deployment. Prior to that, they were a Staff Software Engineer at the same company, contributing to various projects until August 2021. Masashi also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Sony, leading the development of Wi-Fi functionality on Sony Blu-ray Players and managing a development team. Additionally, they contributed to the introduction of Wi-Fi functionality into the Blu-ray player and worked on the development of LocationFree TV during their tenure at Sony. Masashi Takeuchi co-founded Takewari in 2012 and served as the CTO. The company provided a platform enabling users to find the most reasonable products from multiple countries' Amazon websites.

Masashi Takeuchi began their education in 2001 and completed their Master of Computer Science degree at Toyohashi University of Technology in 2004. Masashi later pursued further studies in Computer Science and was a Visiting Industrial Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley from 2014 to 2015.
