Matt Smith

Matt Smith has nearly 23 years of work experience in various technology leadership roles. Matt is currently serving as the Vice President of Commerce Engineering at Sony Interactive Entertainment since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked for Charles Schwab as a Vice President of Technology from August 2018 to May 2022. Before that, they were a Vice President of Platform Strategy at Visa from June 2017 to August 2018. From January 2016 to June 2017, Matt was a Vice President at Sogeti. Matt also spent several years at Dell, where they held the positions of Executive Director/CTO of Dell IT & Dell Commerce Platform from August 2013 to December 2015, and Director of Dell Online Product Engineering from July 2011 to August 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked for Microsoft Corporation in roles such as Principal Enterprise Strategist and Senior Program Manager. Matt began their career at Shelby Systems, Inc. as a Development Manager, where they worked from January 1999 to March 2006.

Matt Smith attended Baylor University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Their field of study was Information Systems. Matt also studied at the Hankamer School of Business, which is a part of Baylor University.
