Noboru Fujii has extensive work experience in software engineering and research. Noboru started their career at Sony in 1992 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on satellite communication systems using IP networks. Noboru was also a member of the WIDE project. In 1996, they became a Research Software Engineer at Sony, focusing on server system and embedded system design and implementation. Noboru continued their career at Sony until 2002, holding various roles including VP (Network Research). In 2002, they joined Sony Interactive Entertainment as a VP (Network Research) and Software Engineer. In 1999, they worked as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.
Noboru Fujii obtained a Master of Management of Technology (MOT) degree in Technology and Innovation Management from the Tokyo Institute of Technology between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they acquired a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Biochemical Engineering from Tohoku University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992.
