Lead Studio Technician at Sony Interactive Entertainment

Wesley W. has a diverse work experience in the animation and entertainment industry. Wesley started their career as an Animator at Mass Animation in 2009 before moving on to work as a Motion Capture Artist at House of Moves from 2010 to 2011. Wesley then returned to House of Moves in 2012 as a Motion Capture Artist, where they were primarily responsible for retargeting and editing motion capture data for video games and films.

In 2013, Wesley joined Stereo D as a Stereoscopic Compositor, where they converted 2D footage into stereo 3D for several feature films. Some notable projects they worked on include "Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Mad Max: Fury Road," and "Guardians of the Galaxy."

From 2015 to 2016, Wesley worked at Digital Domain 3.0 as a Mocap Animator and later as a MOVA Artist, honing their skills in motion capture and animation techniques.

In 2016, Wesley joined Sony Interactive Entertainment America as a Studio Technician and was later promoted to the role of Senior Studio Technician. Wesley worked extensively in performance capture shoots using Motionbuilder and Unreal, overseeing post-production processes, managing 3D printing production, and mold-making of detailed props for shoots.

Wesley then joined That's No Moon in 2021 as an Expert Virtual Production Technician, where they contributed their expertise in virtual production techniques.

Most recently, in 2022, Wesley joined Sony Interactive Entertainment as a Lead Studio Technician, taking on a leadership role in studio operations.

Wesley W. attended Full Sail University from 2007 to 2009. Wesley obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Animation during this period.
