Yiannis Andreopoulos

Yiannis Andreopoulos is a seasoned expert in data and signal processing systems, currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at Sony Interactive Entertainment since December 2023. Prior to this role, Yiannis held various academic positions at UCL from January 2008 to December 2023, including Professor, Reader, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer. Yiannis also served as Chief Technology Officer at iSIZE Technologies from November 2018 to October 2023 and as Director at DITHEN LIMITED from November 2014 to October 2023. Earlier academic experience includes a Lecturer role at Queen Mary University of London and a Post-doctoral Researcher position at UCLA. Yiannis holds a PhD in Applied Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and advanced degrees in signal and image processing systems and electrical engineering from the University of Patras.
