Afaq Tariq

Afaq Tariq currently holds the position of VP Finance for Asia and the Middle East at Sony Music Entertainment since May 2024. Prior to this role, Afaq served as EVP of Finance at Cloud Kinetics from May 2018 to April 2024. Afaq has extensive experience in financial management, having worked as Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Assistant Manager Finance, and Financial Analyst at Hitachi Consulting from December 2011 to May 2018. Earlier roles include Senior Finance Executive at Rikvin Pte Ltd and Assistant Finance Manager at TimeSvr, Pte. Ltd. Afaq also briefly acted as Project Manager at CapAsia. Afaq's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting & Management from the University of Nottingham, membership with the ACCA and the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, and completion of a program in Fintech: Innovation and Transformation in Financial Services at NUS Business School Executive Education.
