Jun Watanabe

Jun Watanabe is the current President and Representative Director at Sony Network Communications. Prior to this, they were the Director of Sales and Business Development at TeamPraxis from December 2014 to August 2015. In this role, they successfully built and nurtured relationships with C-Level executives, quickly resolving issues and closing new business opportunities. Jun also evolved the selling strategy across a new portfolio of sales opportunities by introducing solutions to long-term care facilities and physical therapy clinics.

Previously, Jun Watanabe was the District Manager - Major Accounts at ADP from June 2013 to November 2014. In this role, they were responsible for a district that generated over $100 million in annual revenue.

Jun Watanabe is also the Founder & CEO of Alegup Strategies, Inc., a company they started in March 2006 and ran until March 2013. During their time as CEO, the company grew rapidly and became one of the leading providers of IT support services in Hawaii.

In addition to their work in the private sector, Jun Watanabe has also served as a Director on the Board of Directors & ITP Team Director at the ITP Foundation from May 2004 to May 2013. In this role, they helped raise awareness of the Foundation's work and oversaw the development of its IT training programs.

Jun Watanabe has a BSBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, with a focus in business and finance. Jun also has an AA in liberal arts from De Anza College. Jun is certified as a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner and as a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP).
