Elsa Chang

Elsa Chang is a skilled Character Designer currently working at Sony Pictures Animation since July 2024, contributing to the project Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Prior to this role, Elsa was a Character Designer at Disney Television Animation from November 2017 to July 2024, working on notable projects such as The Mickey Mouse Shorts, The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, The Ghost and Molly McGee, and DuckTales. Additionally, from August 2018 to May 2024, Elsa illustrated Little Golden Book covers and interiors for Penguin Random House, including titles like Illumination's Secret Life of Pets 2 and Despicable Me. Elsa also worked as a Character Designer at Titmouse from October 2021 to October 2022 on Frog and Toad and Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld. Previously, from October 2014 to November 2017, Elsa created character designs at DreamWorks Animation, developing characters based on script and director notes. Elsa holds a BFA in Illustration from ArtCenter College of Design.
