Cynthia Balderas

Cynthia Balderas is an accomplished corporate communications professional with extensive experience in the entertainment industry, currently serving as Director of Corporate Communications for the Motion Picture Group at Sony Pictures Entertainment since October 2015. Cynthia has held various roles at Sony Pictures, including Manager and Senior Coordinator, focusing on box office reporting, publicity placements, and talent coordination for events. Prior to Sony, Cynthia worked as a Junior Publicist at THE MRKT and held multiple assistant positions supporting publicity efforts at prominent companies such as Terry Hines & Associates, Starz Entertainment, and CBS Television Studios. Cynthia holds a B.A. in Public Relations and Spanish from the University of Southern California and has additional international academic credentials from the Instituto Internacional de Madrid.
