Shintaro Shiba

Shintaro Shiba is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in global trade affairs and external relations at Sony, currently serving as the VP and Head of the Washington DC Office since April 2020. Prior to this role, Shintaro held various positions at Sony Corporation, including General Manager from April 2018 to March 2020 and Senior Manager for Sony Electronics Asia Pacific and Sony Middle East and Africa from April 2016 to March 2018. Shintaro's career at Sony began in April 2002, progressing through roles as Legal Manager, Assistant Legal Manager, and Junior Associate. Shintaro holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Hitotsubashi University, and participated in the Munich IP Summer Program at The George Washington University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Waseda University.
