Jacques de Kock

Jacques de Kock is the lead developer at Soofa. Jacques has over six years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on customer service systems, UI/UX operations, and software development life cycles. Prior to joining Soofa, Jacques spent two years at Aculocity as a senior software engineer. There they were responsible for the deployment of new features to production, code reviews, and the creation of standardization processes. Before that, they spent two years at Pam Golding Properties as a senior application specialist. In that role, they were responsible for 3rd level support, programming, software troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Jacques also participated in software quality assurance processes and assisted in the troubleshooting of production issues. Jacques has a deep knowledge of Core Applications and is an expert in Sitefinity CMS modules. Jacques is a skilled SSIS developer and has created packages to automate report creation and distribution. Jacques is a highly talented and experienced software engineer who has demonstrated success in various roles throughout their career.

Jacques de Kock has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from the University of Canterbury and is certified from Mendix in Rapid Developer Certification.

Jacques de Kock reports to Lindsay Gardner, CEO. They are on a team with Daniel West Cohen - City Growth Manager, Jeremy Walker - Customer Success Manager, Media, and Kiel Hauck - Director of Marketing.
