John Hoyle

John Hoyle is the Co-Founder & CEO at Sook. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director- Developments at Sunbird Group from December 2014 to November 2018 where they established Sunbird Developments focused on delivering retail assets across East and Southern Africa. From May 2011 to December 2014, Hoyle worked as the Development Manager at Grosvenor Group developing office and retail assets within Grosvenor’s London Estate. John was also the Venues Project Manager at London 2012 from January 2011 to May 2011 delivering London 2012 Olympic venues. Prior to that, Hoyle worked as the Development Manager at Sorouh Real Estate PJSC from November 2008 to January 2011 developing mixed use projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. John started their career as a Project Manager at STMG Consultancy d.o.o. (former EC Harris d.o.o.) from November 2006 to October 2008. Hoyle is also a Captain in the British Army and has served since September 2002.

John Hoyle studied politics at the University of Bristol, where they earned a BSc (Hons) degree. John then went on to study real estate at University College of Estate Management, where they earned an MBA. John also attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and Wellington College.
