Anuj Bhargava is an Analytics Architect at Soothsayer Analytics. Anuj has also previously worked as a Senior Analyst (Data Scientist) in the Planning and Analysis Group at Pinnacle Entertainment from February 2016 to October 2017. In this role, they developed a model using the Random Forest algorithm to detect customers abusing loyalty programs by falsely inflating their losses. This model automated the complete process and saved more than $1.0 million last year in hard marketing costs. Anuj also provided leads to casino operators in placings products and managing product mix by mapping gaming floors and estimating location premiums using regression. In addition, they built several one-stop dashboards to keep track of gaming-related KPIs and trends. Anuj has also performed ad hoc analysis such as post-forma analysis of floor reconfigurations, writing quarterly gaming reports, Blackjack Simulation, and table games analysis. Anuj was awarded “Living Our Values 2016 - Innovation” for their work at Pinnacle Entertainment. Prior to their work at Pinnacle Entertainment, they worked as an Analytics Graduate Intern at McDonald's Corporation from June 2015 to September 2015.
Anuj Bhargava received a Master's degree in Analytics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology.
