Amjad Alkodsi

Amjad Alkodsi is a Bioinformatics Expert at SOPHiA GENETICS, holding various positions including Senior Bioinformatician and Bioinformatician since February 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Bioinformatics Postdoctoral Researcher and Bioinformatics Research Scientist while completing a PhD at the University of Helsinki from October 2013 to February 2020. Amjad obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Cancer Genomics - Bioinformatics from the University of Helsinki in 2018, and holds two Master's degrees in Computational Biology from Aalto University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, both awarded between 2011 and 2013. Amjad's educational background also includes a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Damascus University, earned from 2003 to 2008.
